Rooibos from Adagio simply delicious.

This is a review of Rooibos Tea from Adagio. As it happens I was looking for something to warm me up. You see

It was late and a little chilly, wanted something warm to drink before bed. Combed through by cupboard and found this little gem.

This one is not made from the Camellia sinensis plant, so technically cannot be called a true tea. This is really an herbal or tisane.

I usually drink the flavored variety, but decided to give this one try. It is simply the Red Leaf itself. This organic leaf from Adagio is excellant.

Heated the water to about 212F. When pouring it over the red leaves I was hit with the aroma of freshly cut hay. Took me back to the time when I was young and the hay fields were being cut.

The taste was a sweetness with some fruity notes. I then added some sweetener and found it only enhance it. Usually only use agave nectar.

This particular one is organic. A caffeine free Red Tea also known as Honey Bush

The description that was given for this tea was this: fruity, sweet, rounded, mild and smooth with a herbal texture.

I thoroughly enjoyed this beverage and hope you do to. If you want to give it a try just click in the link below

So next chilly evening put the kettle on and brew up a cup of soothing sweet Honey Bush, then curl up on the couch and transport yourself to a sunny late summer afternoon sitting in a hayfield. Feel the warm sun on your head as you sip this fruity sweet brew.
