Black tea leaves for the most part are best brewed only once. On occasion I personally have re-brewed abatch, but the flavor is just not as intense.

This is when the water almost comes to a boil. You will see tiny bubbles appear to loop near theperimeter of the your kettle or pot.How long to brew?

First always follow the time frame provided by your tea merchants. This should be on the label.

For one steeping only brew a minimum of 2 to 3 minutes to a maximum of 5 minutes.

A Few Tips for Loose Leaf Black Tea.

I’ve said this before, I'm going to say it again - Always cover your loose leaf tea leaves while brewing. Theleaves will only unfurl (open up) if covered.

When purchasing Black loose leaf tea, buy only what you think you will consume within one year.

When in doubt buy a small amount

Just make sure when trying a new type..buy a small amount first. If you like it buy more next time.

When storing Black Tea make sure you keep the bags tightly closed. Black aromas should be seperated from the other teas.Reason - the others will pick up the flavors of the aromas.
